Zika Virus by Sydney Pollmiller

The zika virus can be caused by a mosquito bite. Some of the symptoms can be eye redness, headache, skin rash, or vomiting. There’s no vaccine or specific treatment yet. The symptoms can be mild and can last less than a week if taken care of properly. If a pregnant woman does get this kind of virus it can cause a birth defect on the child. This virus can spread but only through sexual contact! The first person to bring it back to the United States went to Central America.
