This time of the year is a very exciting time for Men’s’ NCAA basketball. It is March Madness! So far many teams have been eliminated. The bracket starts off with 64 teams, then it cuts to 32, then 16 then 8, then 4, then 2, and then the championship game. The “Sweet Sixteen,” is the round where 16 teams are fighting to move on. In this year’s “Sweet Sixteen,” the teams that moved onto the “Elite Eight,” were Kansas, Villanova, Oregon, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Virginia and Syracuse. There were many upsets during the “Elite Eight,” and the teams that moved onto the “Final Four,” were Villanova, Oklahoma, North Carolina, and Syracuse. Villanova is a two-seed and they are versing Oklahoma who is also a two-seed to see which team will make it into the championship. On the other side of the bracket one-seed North Carolina will verse ten-seed Syracuse. Villanova, Oklahoma, and North Carolina were all expected to make it this far. The cinderella team is Syracuse. Syracuse was not expected to make it even close. According to ESPN, 0.03 brackets had Syracuse in the “Final Four.” The “Final Four,” is going to be very exciting and the games are stacked with talent and pride. I think this years “Final Four,” will be one for the ages, and they are all fighting to win the 2016 National Championship.
