MLB Opening Day By Sean McKittrick

Opening Day of the 2016 MLB season kicked off this past sunday, April 3rd. Six teams played on Opening Day including the Cardinals vs. the Pirates, the Blue Jays vs. the Rays, and the Royals vs. the Mets. The Cubs and Angels also played, finishing up their portion of Spring season. Speaking of the Cubs, everyone has their eye on them as they look to be World Series contenders. But there are a lot of games to be played between now and Oct. 2nd to decide who’s going to be in the playoffs. The Pirates, Blue Jays, and the Royals all won their season openers.
