Don’t Use Your Phone During Class By Makayla Smith

imagesLearning in schools is enhanced by technology, so why are we not allowed to use our cell phones during class? Now most of our assignments are done through programs on the computer. This creates a more efficient way to complete assignments and an easier way for teachers to find things we have done. Do cellphones cause distractions? Yes, they do, but they can also help out students tremendously. Teachers often yell at students to put their headphones away during class and to pay attention, but some students learn better while listening to music. Some students also learn better off of their own devices, maybe if we can’t use our phones we should be allowed to bring in our own computers.
